“Cosmos”

There’s a surreal unique power
that lies in the cosmos

Earth, in contrast
is blessed with cosmic protection

For all the bad days you go through
I urge you to simply stare at the cosmos

You’d feel the vastness deeply
For it’ll carry away all your miseries

How enlightening your spirit will speak
Whether in broad daylight or dark midnight

A seraphic wish under the cosmic roof
bestows unlimited therapy throughout life

I always wish upon all the glimmering stars across the sky
for I have known to ask a secret wish to be granted even by a falling star.

Constant faith, that’s all what it needs to seek
while the universe shows cue for reflecting our manifested desires.

~an impromptu poem for #NaPoWriMo day 11

Prompt Day 11: write a poem about a very large thing. It could be a mountain or a blue whale or a skyscraper or a planet or the various contenders for the honor of being the Biggest Ball of Twine https://www.napowrimo.net/day-eleven-10/

Well I tried yet it doesn’t fulfill my thirst as a writer/poet. Above everything else, one of my favorite thing to do is just to stare at the sky or the universe especially when my mind is puzzled, jumbled up and troubling, because the sky never ever disappoints me or none of us I must say. I feel connected to the tranquility far away with the stars and the moon and all celestial objects, residing far beyond us and yet shining so insanely, magically that it carries away all my worries plus it always shows infinite ways to clear the clutter in my head, cheer me up and teaches me to think positively. Not a person, not a recreational place, not an long wished gift, not an actual object of my desire, but the gift of nature, intangible desired objects, non-living things spread over an extremely huge black carpet, where these creations are burning intensely and we are joyfully watching them from earth, we say they are shining. Well they are merely emitting light, rays of hope and calm diaries. I love universe lot more than anything and is immensely huge that cannot be compared to anything else in this world, at least for me. <333

“For love, with love~”

For love,
I’m not strong I suppose.
But when, you come around
I feel our energies coalesce
and two frail bodies
merge into one living entity.
I have said a hundred times
and I’ll for another hundred times.
For I have always wanted
to keep you by my side,
everyday, to spend every moment
making love for each other.
If I were to describe how I felt
being in love,
I would sing this song to you.
I have loved you since we were 18
Long before we both thought the same thing
To be loved and to be in love
All I can do is say that these arms
Are made for holding you, oh-oh
I wanna love like you made me feel
When we were 18

If we grow old together,
Our song would be young forever.
“Every inch of your footsteps
covering half of mine.
The warmth in your arms,
tight cosy hugs time to time.
If the air you’re breathing
can be felt simply lying over your shoulder,
our backs pressed against eachother
while resting my head beside yours,
our fingers touching as we stare at the sky
as the silence witnesses our very moment
that turns out to be a love language…
What can love do, would be
undeniably enchanting!
Much like the fairy tales, hope so.
But whatever you do,
snuggly cuddles and
that little kiss in my forehead
is all heaven on earth.”
You say, I can’t understand.
I suppose I can’t show my love
Oh but what if your eyes are blind? lol
All I ever wanted to do (well there are lots of
things, some mentioned here)
While the “some” includes
watching the moon from rooftop
beguiled by the freezing breeze at night.
Talk about paradoxical philosophies
or bizarre topics and never getting tired of
writing long love letters praising about us,
never abandoning to mention the things we like.
Slow walk in an amusing way, down in a hill
spotting ordinary articles, playing songs from
our playlist, giggling at jokes for the whole day!
Ain’t getting over the favorite moment none of us spoke
but my hands were freezing so you put them in your pockets
and warm them up without saying a word.
Finding an exquisite café while we had a city tour.
Sharing one coffee with two straws during twilight,
choosing pastry flavor, red velvet or choco fudge?
Long drives beside the river road, would you like to know
why did it happened so?
If I were to describe how I felt being in love,
(or wanting to feel in love)
I would sing this poem to you.
With love~

(dedicated to no one though)

~an impromptu poem for #NaPoWriMo day 10

A part of lyrics is used in the poem from “18” by One Direction

Prompt Day 10: Today’s prompt is pretty simple – a love poem! https://www.napowrimo.net/day-ten-10/

What love can do is sure to be Wild and Fun<3 Enjoy and find a company, an interesting muse (muse for writers and poets ;)) who can actually make you feel alive on this dull world, fight for you, respect you, encourage you, celebrate success and failure together with you, and by whatever means make sure they doesn’t give up or dare to lose you without a doubt and choose you over and over and over again (without being toxic)!

You are the bane of my existence–and the object of all of my desires. Night and day I dream of you.” (a dialogue from Bridgerton 2)
– if your lover doesn’t say this, hush! Quit, they don’t deserve you. lol

This poem went on a little too long explaining moments that the poet wishes to encounter, how would it feel being fallen in love something that sort of hopefully.
Pretty messy I guess and well I was expecting better but will do next time for sure:)

“Nostalgia”

Wish you belonged to me, oh my love
Wish this world wasn’t cold and cruel.
As it’d be to part our lives.
You tasted like a song,
Ineffaceable.
But, you’re gone
Believe me,
I miss
You…

~an impromptu poem (nonet) for #NaPoWriMo day 9

Prompt Day 9:  try a prompt that asks you to write in a specific form – the nonet! A nonet has nine lines. The first line has nine syllables, the second has eight, and so on until you get to the last line, which has just one syllable https://www.napowrimo.net/day-nine-8/

So this is my first attempt on a nonet and there you go! I thought of music then I thought of old days, I thought of each passing day, I thought of memories, I thought of moments that we created in our past, I thought of all the bad days and the good, I thought of talking-walking-teaching-driving-eating together, I thought of singing-dancing-writing-performing-winning together, I thought of the lyrics in every song that are relatable to us, I thought of our relationship, I thought of our emotions and attachment, I thought of every sensation we felt or we shared with each other, I thought of love and the lover, I thought of ‘you’, I thought of ‘us’… I was in deep contemplation indeed.

“My other half”

The other part of me
is just more than perfect,
apparently better than
who I consider myself.
My other half, shadowed.

She’s easily vulnerable and hurt
She’s fragile and soft
She’s holy and ethereal
She would never disappoint me
She knows it all.

She’s present everywhere I go
sometimes I forget her presence
while she, solely cares about me;
even when nobody’s surrounded.
So that I never feel abandoned.

She treasures the darkest deepest secret
of all my mysteries I’ve undergone
and she knows my mischievous actions.
She guides me through the toughest times,
being able to rule my consciousness verily alone.

She makes my safe space illuminated,
unlike most folks would ever be able to.
Asks me to take time and reflect upon my thoughts
And would accompany my wandering thoughts
escorting into clandestine solicitude.

She has the power to convince and manipulate
my mind and satisfy boundless desires
Something’s eerie about her you might think,
every time you see me contemplating
know; she’s here unleashing my persona.

“I co-exist in every person, concealed.
Not everyone listens to me
but if one does, they never fail
or lose any war or love.
Be courteous, be kind
Cause I’m the voice (psyche)
you dare calling blind.” ~her

“I wonder if I die, would you come along?
I wish you live a thousand times I died, living
and never come home.
Stay in my funeral and read out an eulogy.
For, you know me better than anyone ever could.” ~me

The other part of me
is just more than perfect,
apparently better than
who I consider myself.
My other half,
my very own vigilant spirit
disguised as alter-ego.

~an impromptu poem for #NaPoWriMo day 8

Prompt Day 8: a poem about the alter ego. name your alter-ego, and then describe him/her in detail. Then write in your alter-ego’s voice. Maybe your alter-ego is a streetwise detective, or a superhero, or a very small goldfinch. Whoever or whatever your alternate self may be, I hope this prompt lets you stretch both your writing skills and your self-knowledge https://www.napowrimo.net/day-eight-9/

‘My alter-ego: it is none other than my conscious conscience’

Here’s my take. Have a wonderful day ahead!

“A rolling stone gathers no moss”

They would say,
‘rolling stone gathers no moss’
But isn’t all the fun they have
to experience?
Rolling from region to region
some close place akin to home
some, fresh like rainbow after storm
while some feels pale and obscure
and others, feels lively
with arrays of radiant hope
Behind every episode of thrust, there
remains the intense course of the journey.
and for them, hasn’t been any doubt;
after one rolls down the track…
“gusto for the odyssey may never end”
they would flatter.

~an impromptu poem for #NaPoWriMo day 7

Prompt Day 7: a poem that argues against, or somehow questions, a proverb or saying. They say that “all cats are black at midnight,” but really? Surely some of them remain striped. And maybe there is an ill wind that blows some good. Perhaps that wind just has some mild dyspepsia; https://www.napowrimo.net/day-seven-8/

Here’s my take. Hope you enjoyed:)

“Forever- Is Composed Of Nows”

Forever” is a promise they say
Is it really, though?
Composed for every bit of each day:
Of what we have already, “yesterdays”
Nows offering the time for building every “tomorrows” of it.

~an impromptu poem for #NaPoWriMo day 6

Prompt Day 6: Today, I’d like to challenge you to write a variation of an acrostic poem. But rather than spelling out a word with the first letters of each line, I’d like you to write a poem that reproduces a phrase with the first words of each line. Perhaps you could write a poem in which the first words of each line, read together, reproduce a treasured line of poetry? You could even try using a newspaper headline or something from a magazine article. Whatever you choose, I hope you enjoy this prompt. https://www.napowrimo.net/day-six-9/

For today’s offering in my first attempt for the acrostic poem, I picked up the title of a poem by Emily Dickinson: https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/52202/forever-is-composed-of-nows-690

“Aphrodite”

Aphrodite Aphrodite,
oh goddess of love
bless me with the power
to attract charming lovers.

Aphrodite Aphrodite,
oh goddess of beauty
bless me with the spell
and declare I’m spiritual.

Aphrodite Aphrodite,
oh goddess of lust
teach me to entice
every lover that is suffice.

Aphrodite Aphrodite,
oh mighty goddess of Venus
I plea you to
bring me into life,

Let me venture
into the world
of mortals
and bless them
with thy powers of divine.

~an impromptu poem for #NaPoWriMo day 5

Prompt Day 5: Today, I’d like to challenge you to write a poem about a mythical person or creature doing something unusual – or at least something that seems unusual in relation to that person/creature. For example, what does Hercules do when he loses a sock in the dryer? If a mermaid wants to pick up rock-climbing as a hobby, how does she do that? What happens when a mountain troll makes pancakes? https://www.napowrimo.net/day-five-9/

“Aphrodite”, my poem speaks about the Greek Goddess Aphrodite, the goddess of sexual love and beauty and her attributes to bless me with her powers. Well it went off the path but yeah I tried. It went exactly what it exhibits rather than the quirky job that should have spiced up anyway, hope you like it!

“Poetry and Her”

Poetry in her
inspirits her soul
her indelible blemishes
all over her body
tantalizes every poet
to create poetry
her intuitive mind
entangles every poet
luring in her mystery tale
soliciting cryptic desires
manifesting out from her
as she’s the embodiment
of beauty and divinity
love and sovereignty
‘poetry’ and ‘her’
creates sophisticated art
that is admired by every individual
and so do I worship her, the divine

~an impromptu poem for #NaPoWriMon day 4

Prompt Day 4: Here’s our optional prompt! Today, I’d like to challenge you to write a poem . . . in the form of a poetry prompt. If that sounds silly, well, maybe it is! But it’s not without precedent. The poet Mathias Svalina has been writing surrealist prompt-poems for quite a while, posting them to Instagram. You can find examples here, and here, and here. https://www.napowrimo.net/day-four-10/

Here’s my take on poetry, igniting the very spiritual spirit of a poet by kicking off the ’22 season with this one. Have a great day!
