“My other half”

The other part of me
is just more than perfect,
apparently better than
who I consider myself.
My other half, shadowed.

She’s easily vulnerable and hurt
She’s fragile and soft
She’s holy and ethereal
She would never disappoint me
She knows it all.

She’s present everywhere I go
sometimes I forget her presence
while she, solely cares about me;
even when nobody’s surrounded.
So that I never feel abandoned.

She treasures the darkest deepest secret
of all my mysteries I’ve undergone
and she knows my mischievous actions.
She guides me through the toughest times,
being able to rule my consciousness verily alone.

She makes my safe space illuminated,
unlike most folks would ever be able to.
Asks me to take time and reflect upon my thoughts
And would accompany my wandering thoughts
escorting into clandestine solicitude.

She has the power to convince and manipulate
my mind and satisfy boundless desires
Something’s eerie about her you might think,
every time you see me contemplating
know; she’s here unleashing my persona.

“I co-exist in every person, concealed.
Not everyone listens to me
but if one does, they never fail
or lose any war or love.
Be courteous, be kind
Cause I’m the voice (psyche)
you dare calling blind.” ~her

“I wonder if I die, would you come along?
I wish you live a thousand times I died, living
and never come home.
Stay in my funeral and read out an eulogy.
For, you know me better than anyone ever could.” ~me

The other part of me
is just more than perfect,
apparently better than
who I consider myself.
My other half,
my very own vigilant spirit
disguised as alter-ego.

~an impromptu poem for #NaPoWriMo day 8

Prompt Day 8: a poem about the alter ego. name your alter-ego, and then describe him/her in detail. Then write in your alter-ego’s voice. Maybe your alter-ego is a streetwise detective, or a superhero, or a very small goldfinch. Whoever or whatever your alternate self may be, I hope this prompt lets you stretch both your writing skills and your self-knowledge https://www.napowrimo.net/day-eight-9/

‘My alter-ego: it is none other than my conscious conscience’

Here’s my take. Have a wonderful day ahead!

“A rolling stone gathers no moss”

They would say,
‘rolling stone gathers no moss’
But isn’t all the fun they have
to experience?
Rolling from region to region
some close place akin to home
some, fresh like rainbow after storm
while some feels pale and obscure
and others, feels lively
with arrays of radiant hope
Behind every episode of thrust, there
remains the intense course of the journey.
and for them, hasn’t been any doubt;
after one rolls down the track…
“gusto for the odyssey may never end”
they would flatter.

~an impromptu poem for #NaPoWriMo day 7

Prompt Day 7: a poem that argues against, or somehow questions, a proverb or saying. They say that “all cats are black at midnight,” but really? Surely some of them remain striped. And maybe there is an ill wind that blows some good. Perhaps that wind just has some mild dyspepsia; https://www.napowrimo.net/day-seven-8/

Here’s my take. Hope you enjoyed:)

“Forever- Is Composed Of Nows”

Forever” is a promise they say
Is it really, though?
Composed for every bit of each day:
Of what we have already, “yesterdays”
Nows offering the time for building every “tomorrows” of it.

~an impromptu poem for #NaPoWriMo day 6

Prompt Day 6: Today, I’d like to challenge you to write a variation of an acrostic poem. But rather than spelling out a word with the first letters of each line, I’d like you to write a poem that reproduces a phrase with the first words of each line. Perhaps you could write a poem in which the first words of each line, read together, reproduce a treasured line of poetry? You could even try using a newspaper headline or something from a magazine article. Whatever you choose, I hope you enjoy this prompt. https://www.napowrimo.net/day-six-9/

For today’s offering in my first attempt for the acrostic poem, I picked up the title of a poem by Emily Dickinson: https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/52202/forever-is-composed-of-nows-690

“Aphrodite”

Aphrodite Aphrodite,
oh goddess of love
bless me with the power
to attract charming lovers.

Aphrodite Aphrodite,
oh goddess of beauty
bless me with the spell
and declare I’m spiritual.

Aphrodite Aphrodite,
oh goddess of lust
teach me to entice
every lover that is suffice.

Aphrodite Aphrodite,
oh mighty goddess of Venus
I plea you to
bring me into life,

Let me venture
into the world
of mortals
and bless them
with thy powers of divine.

~an impromptu poem for #NaPoWriMo day 5

Prompt Day 5: Today, I’d like to challenge you to write a poem about a mythical person or creature doing something unusual – or at least something that seems unusual in relation to that person/creature. For example, what does Hercules do when he loses a sock in the dryer? If a mermaid wants to pick up rock-climbing as a hobby, how does she do that? What happens when a mountain troll makes pancakes? https://www.napowrimo.net/day-five-9/

“Aphrodite”, my poem speaks about the Greek Goddess Aphrodite, the goddess of sexual love and beauty and her attributes to bless me with her powers. Well it went off the path but yeah I tried. It went exactly what it exhibits rather than the quirky job that should have spiced up anyway, hope you like it!

“Poetry and Her”

Poetry in her
inspirits her soul
her indelible blemishes
all over her body
tantalizes every poet
to create poetry
her intuitive mind
entangles every poet
luring in her mystery tale
soliciting cryptic desires
manifesting out from her
as she’s the embodiment
of beauty and divinity
love and sovereignty
‘poetry’ and ‘her’
creates sophisticated art
that is admired by every individual
and so do I worship her, the divine

~an impromptu poem for #NaPoWriMon day 4

Prompt Day 4: Here’s our optional prompt! Today, I’d like to challenge you to write a poem . . . in the form of a poetry prompt. If that sounds silly, well, maybe it is! But it’s not without precedent. The poet Mathias Svalina has been writing surrealist prompt-poems for quite a while, posting them to Instagram. You can find examples here, and here, and here. https://www.napowrimo.net/day-four-10/

Here’s my take on poetry, igniting the very spiritual spirit of a poet by kicking off the ’22 season with this one. Have a great day!

BLOGGER RECOGNITION AWARD

I feel so honoured plus happy to inform you that I have been nominated by my fellow blogger for THE BLOGGER RECOGNITION AWARD. First of all, Thank you Asra for nominating me! She possess the key of knowledge, hence I got a fantastic chance to meet this wonderful girl here…. Do check out her account- https://isasra.wordpress.com/

The Rules:

  1. Thank the blogger that nominated you and give a link to their site.
  2. Do a post to show your award.
  3. Give a summary of how your blog started.
  4. Give two pieces of advice for any new bloggers.
  5. Select at least 15 other bloggers for this award.
  6. Let each nominee know you’ve nominated them and give a link to your post.

Summary of how my blog started

I was interested in doing stuff like writing short essays, non-fictions, fictions as well, diary entries, poems and that too when I am in a different mood! For an instance, I felt pity for myself at times when I am upset or feeling gloomy throughout the day, so basically when I m shattered, I use to write in my diaries expressing what made me sad! Since then, I found that I can write pretty well in moments when I am emotional or depressed, and I started sharing this feeling through writing, and words could touch emotions, somewhat craving the impalpable yet irresistible affection for myself. And at the same time, people started to appreciate my work when it was published in different platforms and then I started Blogging!

Without the support of my friends maybe, I would have never reach out till here! They encouraged me and I didn’t give up! I tried my best and here I am, an influential, accomplished sophisticated woman! Well, miles to go to become successful! This journey never ends, and I am enjoying through this blogging adventure……

My advice for new bloggers

I was about to launch a new blog post, specially for new bloggers and for some solitary bloggers who are unable to show their talents because, its a scarcity of readers and followers, hence a few likes and almost making an empty train… I tried my best to encourage them, but I thought maybe my little blogging can help them grow better! And this is the wonderful time to have a blast, enjoying the happiest moments!!! That post is on processing, yet to complete!

Don’t you lose hope, dearie! Well, it needs some time in WordPress but when you are once exposed to a social media, people will come to know about you and you might not be the center of attention but don’t worry, express the best of you through your talent and Create an impact through your blogs!

Don’t hesitate to put a like and comment on your fellow blogger’s posts after reading their posts and of course good deeds are favourable for you cause you may get back in return, yes, Blessings indeed!

I have met so many bloggers here and also interacted through conversations so yeah I came to know lot more about their journey, and I found out a common cause of leaving WordPress and deleting accounts from here, and the CAUSE of doing these is- No Readers, No Followers!

This is my humble request to all the bloggers, Please encourage our fellow bloggers, we have so many young and amazing writers here, do check out their accounts and APPRECIATE, ENCOURAGE, READ THEIR POSTS, SHOW SOME LOVE!

Movie Review- Enola Homes (2020)

Hello people!! Alright, am extremely sorry… From the past few days I wasn’t active here in WordPress, it wasn’t a break actually, My family was tested Covid positive and I had to lend some time for them until they recover fully. Now, they are improving their health and I am able to return back… So yea, couldn’t participate in prompt writings since last two weeks! And literally, I am very busy nowadays, and my exam is going on so it is difficult to maintain blogs over here… Never-mind, I am back!

My movie Review

Millie Bobby Brown
Millie Bobby Brown playing the role of Enola from ‘Enola Holmes’

Enola Holmes

My movie review is out there in audience review for ‘Enola Homes‘, you can go and check out there or read here! Hope you enjoy and of course I recommend you to watch this 2020 adventurous, mystery film on Netflix!

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

The Finder of Lost Souls“, yes, ‘Enola’ a remarkable role played by the smart young movie star and title character of Enola Holmes, Millie Bobby Brown; has immensely bought the exuberant spirit of women to become WOMEN of the century! I have to mention, that was an startling performance by teen actress Millie! I like her attire as the Victorian lady, well she could deliberately portray it and that was marvelous!

Enola‘, a significant name given by her mother, is an extremely magnificent clue that leads to a fantastic mystery of finding her mother, and in that search; a runaway lord (Tewkesbury) played by Louis Partridge added more fun through the adventure. Her free-spirited confidence, intelligence and strong-will incorporated a perfect angle of influence by her mother by which she could discover manipulative powers over her fellow performers in the play. And ofcourse, this time audience could taste a different curiosity for a cryptic twist in the story, because of a prominent detective; Sherlock Holmes has been outsmarted by his sister, which is an amazing riddle that have driven thrills in the movie!

Within a small period of interaction with her brothers, which has displayed her (Enola) quick-wit, tricks and remarkable expressions of mischievousness, revealed her sharp mind the ability to become a clever detective, an insightful thinker of limitless time in future. Where do it end and how, it was moreover predictable; cause it is an accomplishable task although there has been showing a lot of mystery yet on emotional basis of the search! There goes a sudden launching of a teen boy; half the way from the story, Enola was helping a boy,Tewkesbury and that was little weird and absurd though it was a part of the exciting conundrum and it proved to show sufficient vitality in a humorous and dramatic way. I wish it could last for some more scenes…
It was rather unexpected, that Henry Cavill could perform so well as a detective, but he did it! The screenplay was good according to the performance along with the cinematography which was inevitably stunning due the amazing landscapes from England.

Enola was liable to all of the solved cases; mysteries and that was all because of her mother! It has showed Enola’s mother; Eudoria as a strong and bold matriarch of holme’s family who encouraged her daughter to become an independent woman like her. Eudoria; an eccentric yet a feminist role played by Helena Bonham Carter, she had skillful aptitude of a dignified woman and her contribution towards her daughter happened to be immensely large and also which was as coolly manifested in her role for a secret society consisting of a radical group of suffragettes where she raised voice to redefine woman society in England. She taught her daughter everything, jujitsu; a martial art (was of a great use later), chess, paintings, encouraged her to read every book in Ferndell Hall, in their home, and was a big fan of word games, and all that she could teach. In the last scene, a beautiful message was advised by her, I could catch that, ** “You have to make some noise if you want to be heard..” ** The story of a brave, talented, clever, free-spirited strong girl in order to became a woman is just wonderfully shown in Enola Holmes! Netflix has brought a Worth watching film this September! Netflix users should watch this awesome movie even if you could not find any romance….

Baker street‘ of London, is refreshed as it welcomes a new member in Holme’s Family!

Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes (the mother)
Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Millie as Enola, Sam Claflin as Mycroft Holmes
Featuring Millie and Louis Partridge (Tewkesbury)
Millie in the form of a gorgeous Victorian Lady
My favorite actress!

Thank you for reading my blog…
